What is Innerdance?

A Wakeful Dreamstate

The innerdance is an intuitive and organic state of expanded consciousness that acts as a gateway towards wholeness and a deeper understanding of who and what we are. Music is used to support the activation of specific brainwave patterns that stimulate a waking dream-like state of consciousness. Heightened vibratory responses within the brain, body and being shift elements of the unified field and its interactions with the whole. Old systems of interpretation change as a more healthy, healing, and harmonic energy moves towards sustained alignment.

The innerdance provides a safe space for curious exploration, deep inquiry, insight, and profound shifts in awareness both internally and externally. For all who choose to lay down, close their eyes and trust, this process offers both an intimate and collective experience for the depths of the soul and the furthest reaches of humanity.

Retreat Sessions:

Facilitators assist in co-creating a multi-sensory environment of ambience, sound, intuitive bodywork, voice, and energy healing. The uniqueness of each 'space holder' contributes to the collective experience. Every session is different and individual experiences can vary from session to session or person to person. The co-facilitators for this retreat have attended various energy school and innerdance training processes, are passionate about the work, and eager to share in the co-creative magic of innerdance.

This retreat is for anyone who is:

new to the innerdance and curious to learn more about the process and/or facilitation
already experienced with the innerdance and would like to journey deeper into the work,
interested to incorporate this work with other practices, skills, modalities or professions,
interested to include innerdance frameworks when facilitating workshops, retreats or immersions.

About the Retreat:

We invite you to a shared space of trust, vulnerability, and transformation. The innerdance process is not for the faint of heart or those just looking to scratch the surface of their inner being. When we trust the process, innerdance has a powerful ability to initiate deep healing and accelerated growth.

About the Facilitator Training Course:

This Facilitator Training Course begins before the retreat in Sweden. All participants will complete the online training modules prior to the retreat. The online program consists of video learning, discussion questions, and short quizzes to ensure that all participants are actively engaged in the course content. This learning is an essential part of the Facilitator Training Course as it provides participants with a thorough understanding of the innerdance process and helps prepare them for the in-person components. Participants can begin the online program at any time but are required to complete the online learning modules before the in-person retreat.

Due to the intensive and immersive nature of innerdance retreats, theory and science will be covered in the online modules and the retreat will concentrate on experiential learning and practice. By the time we meet each other in Sweden, all participants should have a working knowledge of the innerdance frameworks and theories that will help us deepen into the in-person components of the training program.

Using the Foundations of Energy School, dimensions of Wholeness Systems Learning, and a practical approach to Innerdance Playlists, participants will gain a fundamental understanding of the innerdance process and skills to facilitate online or in-person.

**There is no requirement to begin facilitating after the completion of this course; participants are welcome to join for personal growth and development or the possibility of holding sessions at a later date in time.

What is Energy School?

By looking at energy concepts through a variety of lenses across many disciplines of study, the Energy School is designed to both dismantle and rebuild internalized perspectives on life towards a more unified whole. It supports symbiotic relationships within ourselves, between each other, and with our world, through embedded wisdom and a deep experience of Wholeness. Energy School empowers participants to activate and remember the innate healing capacity within each and every one of us.

About Serena Olsen

Over the past decade, Serena Olsen has helped catalyze and develop innerdance as a process, language and globally growing community. She is one of the most experienced global facilitators of this work and is able to offer a comprehensive understanding of the innerdance through Energy School, soundscape creations, experiential wisdom and in-depth scientific knowledge.

In her life path, Serena has forged a deep alliance with self-healing and transformation. She focuses on Wholeness Healing as a framework for pattern-based thinking, vibrational resonance, and resiliency. Her sound creations are used by facilitators, practitioners, and individuals worldwide for meditation, innerdance, neural entrainment, breathwork, and a variety of therapeutic practices.

Serena worked alongside Pi Villaraza for many years. She helped manage the Bahay Kalipay Retreat Center and Maia Earth Village. Her collaborations with the global community helped pioneer the innerdance movement as we know it today. Serena also helped train Venant Wong in the innerdance process in his years before establishing KAP. With more than a decade of experience facilitating innerdance trainings and group sessions, Serena has helped thousands of people transform their lives and take charge of their health and wellbeing.

Serena is a reiki master, family constellations facilitator, health & wholeness practitioner, Global Ecovillage Network ambassador, and life systems coach. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Culture and Communication and a minor in Graphic Design and Technology. She is currently studying a Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Chronic Disease Prevention and Control.

How to get here

Skeppsudden is located just 30 min outside Norrköping airport, and 1,5 hour drive from Skavsta airport. A serene spot next to the sea.

To arrive from Stockholm C with public transport, take train, or the bus, to Norrköping C. There is a local bus close to Skeppsudden, where we will pick you up.

Cancellation policy

Innerdance Trust Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we strive to be as fair and transparent as possible. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before booking your retreat.

Cancellation by Participant
- More than 60 days before the retreat start date: Full refund minus a non-refundable deposit.
- 30 to 59 days before the retreat start date: 50% refund of the total retreat cost.
- Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: No refund will be issued.
- No-shows or early departures: No refunds or credits will be provided.

Cancellation by the Organizer:

In the unlikely event that we must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, or low enrollment), you will receive:
- A full refund of all payments made, or
- The option to transfer your booking to a future retreat of equal value.

We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred, such as airfare, travel insurance, or other costs.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, and trip interruptions to protect their investment.
